Refund Policy

1. Annual subscription refund eligibility

Arcane Scroll provides a self-service full-refund option for the initial paid invoice of an active annual subscription only when all of the following conditions are met:

• the refund is requested within 14 days after the annual subscription is activated;
• the account has not previously received an Arcane Scroll subscription refund;
• the account has used fewer than 50 AI-assisted operations in total during the applicable usage cycle;
• the account is using less than 200 MB of storage at the time of the request; and
• the subscription remains active and can be identified by the payment provider.

If approved, the self-service refund is issued for the full initial paid annual subscription invoice. Access to paid features ends immediately. Refunds may take time to appear on your statement depending on the payment provider and your financial institution.

2. Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are not eligible for the self-service 14-day refund option. You may cancel a monthly subscription at any time to prevent future renewals, and paid access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

3. Cancellations and downgrades

Cancelling a paid subscription, including switching to the free plan, stops future renewals. Your current paid plan remains available until the end of the billing period already paid for. Downgrades between paid tiers take effect at the next renewal, when the lower price begins to apply.

4. Upgrades and prorated charges

Upgrades take effect immediately. The payment provider calculates and may charge a prorated amount for the remaining time in the current billing period. Any amount displayed by Arcane Scroll before confirmation is an estimate. The final amount may vary because of taxes, discounts, credits, and provider rounding.

5. Lemon Squeezy and mandatory rights

Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record for purchases processed through its checkout. Lemon Squeezy may issue refunds or handle chargebacks according to its own obligations and policies. Nothing in this Refund Policy limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
